Public Art piece realized in hand painted glass blocks permanently installed in the 36th Street Subway Station in Rockaway Beach, Queens, NY. The art needed to speak to the beach-side community that is a diverse and vibrant mix of races and culture. Clear, unpainted, blocks allow for viewers to see the beach and community from this elevated subway station platform.
